Rapid Ragú® Chili

2 lbs. (1 kg) extra lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chili powder
1 jar (640 mL) Ragú® Old World Style™ Original Pasta Sauce
Ragú® Old World Style™ Original Pasta Sauce
1 can (15 oz./470 g) reduced-sodium red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup (50 mL) shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheddar cheese (about 1 oz./30 g)
4 cups (1 L) cooked rice



Brown ground beef with onion and chili powder in large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans and Pasta Sauce.


Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. Top with cheese. Serve over hot cooked rice.


Freeze leftovers in single servings and defrost as needed.
