Mama's Best Ever Spaghetti & Meatballs

Ingredients

1-1/2 lbs. (750 g) extra lean ground beef
4 slices whole grain bread, torn into small pieces
2 eggs
1 jar (640 mL) Ragú® Old World Style™ Original Pasta Sauce
Ragú® Old World Style™ Original Pasta Sauce
1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. (1 mL) garlic powder
12 oz. (350 g) whole wheat spaghetti, cooked and drained

Directions

Combine ground beef, bread, eggs, 1/2 cup Pasta Sauce, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in medium bowl; shape into 18 meatballs.

Bring remaining Pasta Sauce to a boil over medium-high heat in medium saucepan. Gently stir in uncooked meatballs. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes or until meatballs are done.

Serve over hot spaghetti.

QUICK TIP

For another light tasting option, try using ground chicken instead of ground beef.
